For Professionals
Fisher Therapy offers professional consultation, education, and support for medical personnel, child protective services, probation services, and therapists who work with individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other neurodivergent needs.
These services are designed to help professionals better understand the “why” behind behavior, identify when ADHD or ASD may be contributing to emotional, social, behavioral, or functional concerns, and determine when further screening, evaluation, or specialized support may be appropriate.
Consultation services may include case discussion, education on neurodivergent presentations, support with differential considerations, guidance on referral needs, and strategies for improving communication, intervention planning, behavior management, and client outcomes. Fisher Therapy also provides education related to masking, sensory needs, executive functioning challenges, emotional dysregulation, social communication differences, trauma-related symptom overlap, and how these factors may impact compliance, decision-making, treatment engagement, parenting, legal involvement, and daily functioning.
This is especially helpful for professionals who are navigating complex behaviors, unclear diagnoses, treatment barriers, caregiver concerns, legal or system involvement, or situations where traditional interventions have not been effective. The goal is to support professionals in developing a clearer understanding of client needs so that services, referrals, supervision plans, and interventions can be more individualized, appropriate, and effective.
